There's Now a "Rolling Stones Rock" on Mars

Right before The Rolling Stones took the stage at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California, on Thursday, actor Robert Downey Jr. strode to the microphone and announced that NASA had named a small stone on Mars "Rolling Stones Rock" in honor of the band. “Cross-pollinating science and a legendary rock band is always a good thing,” Downey told the AP backstage. Meanwhile, after ripping through a smoking version of "Tumbling Dice," Mick Jagger told the crowd, "NASA has given us something we have always dreamed of, our very own rock on Mars. I can’t believe it. I want to bring it back and put it on our mantelpiece.”
