After hinting that she may drop a new song this week, Ariana Grande has now pushed back the release of her latest track to Monday. The whole thing started Wednesday night when Grande tweeted at her frequent songwriting collaborator Victoria Monet, "Man, let’s drop it tomorrow night. '7 Rings' is about to be #1 for eight weeks and the album [Sweetener] might go back to #1 too....We need to celebrate, to be honest!" Monet initially agreed, tweeting, "You ain’t neva lied...Let’s dooo it!" But a few hours later, she was singing a different tune about the new tune. "Yoo lets drop it Monday so we can celebrate an 8th week at #1!!" Monet said. "'Cause this s**t is insaaaane." Ariana replied, "Word it’s also like...not mastered or ready or delivered lmaooo. See, this is why i can’t go on Twitter anymore. I get too excited and say s**t I shouldn’t. However, Monday is soon enough!"
