Aerosmith Deliver Rare “Movin’ Out” Performance at Las Vegas Residency

Aerosmith gave a rare performance of their song “Movin' Out” during a recent performance in their Las Vegas residency. In footage shared by the band this week, Tyler is seen giving the audience some backstory on the song, which appeared on Aerosmith’s 1973 self-titled debut. “I looked at Joe [Perry] and I said, ‘F**k we got a song!’” Tyler recalled of writing the song on a water bed in the band’s Boston apartment. “Of course the label ain’t gonna take you on unless you have songs, and we had no songs. We had none. I said Joe, ‘I think we just wrote our first song!’” The performance was recorded during the band’s Deuces Are Wild concert on April 23.
